As part of the Horizon Foundation’s commitment to family mental health and wellness in the county, we are excited to announce a new series of ads highlighting mental health this fall.
Listen for our ad on Pandora radio, airing September and October.
For the month of September, the Foundation will have a banner located near the food court in the Mall in Columbia showcasing our investment in mental health. Spots airing on Pandora Radio in September and October also will feature the Foundation’s message that “Mental health matters because we all matter.”
A special section in the October issue of Howard Magazine also will feature the Foundation’s work on mental health, including a partnership with Howard County Public Schools; the Rapid Access Program which helps connect people with unaddressed mental health needs to community mental health care providers; past Mental Health Film Festivals; and mental health training opportunities.
Be on the lookout for more as we continue to work closely with partners to expand access to
mental health services, especially for children, and increase community-wide awareness to destigmatize what it
means to receive mental health treatment.
