The Horizon Foundation was saddened to learn of the passing of long-time board member, Jim Truby, 78, on Friday, January 22, 2020. Jim served on the Foundation’s Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2012 and was Secretary of the Board for five of those years. He is remembered as a community leader and steward.“Jim will always be that voice of reason and quiet wisdom in my mind,” noted former Board Chair Shirley Collier. She added, “he made a tremendous impact in this world and will be remembered for decades to come.”
The entire Horizon Foundation family, past and current, sends our thoughts and condolences to his family. Jim’s legacy continues on within the Foundation’s work to improve health and well-being in Howard County.
